DIVISIONS OF VEDAS

There are four divisions of vedas
a) Samhita
b)Brahmanas
c)Aranyakas
d)Upanishid
Samhita are collections of mantras in praise of God.Brahmanas are detailed instruction about rites and ceremonies.Aranyakas are enquires about the highest truth.Upanisheds are philosophical outlook which forms the basis of Indian Culture
