It is one of the oldest primary upanishads.It is also commented by Adi Shankara.It is associated with Rig Veda.
It is a prose text containing 33 verses divided into three chapters.In the first chapter of the text Atman, innerself is portrayed as a divine creator .In the second chapter, the three births of Atman are described. In the third chapter,the quality of the self or Brahman is described.It contains one of the most famous quote of Vedanta'Prajanam Brahma ' which means Brahmam is intelligence
