The youth of to-day question very often the relevance of religious practices and rituals.Today young people are graudally losing their faith in religious matters.Hence for the uplift of Sanathana Dharma , our religion is to be tuned to suit the modern life style.Remember the very hallmark of Hinduism is its willingness to adapt the life style of various cultures, without losing the identity of Sanathana Dharma. Sanathana Dharma is based upon the qualities of acceptance ,absorption and expansion.It incoporates the freedom of thoughts of all other religions of this Universe.Hinduism is a way of life and it does not conflit with any other religion.A true follower of Hinduism believes in allowing every human being to search the ultimate truth in their own way.Unlike other religions Hinduism does not permit monopoly of one God, one spiritual practice or one scripture as one and the only way for self relisation.Feeling of unity and harmony with everyone is the spirit of Hindu Dharma.Youth of to-day say that our religion has failed to solve the problems of society.To some extent, this is true in the present context.The religion is misused for accumulating wealth and money.More importance is given to fame and not faith.The fundmentals of religion are foregotten.Hence it is high time for each and every true follower of SanathanaDharma that the Self is the maker and nonmaker, it gives bliss and misery, self is one's own friend and foe,self decides one's own fate, good or evil.
