ABOUT KENO UPANISHAD
AUM SRI SAI RAM AUM SRI SAI RAM
The Kenopanishad is ascribed to Sama Veda and its Thalavakara branch and hence it is called as Thalavakaropanishad also. The word Kena is derived from the first mantra of this Upanishad 'Keneshitham pathathi preshitham manah'. This Upanishad gives all the seekers the upadesa of Brahma Jnanam. It deals with Brahmam which is Sathyam ,Jnanam and Anantham. Each Upanishad has its own style of communicating vedantic knowledge. This Upanishad starts with the word "KENO' which means by whom or by what.Hence this Upanishad starts with enquiry in the form of questions ,all of which are concerned with 'Self'. This is an advanced Upanishad since the students involved are advanced in their spiritual maturity
