About parayan (reading) of the Holy Book Sai sath charitham

Before mentioning about parayan of Sath Charitham, I would like to draw your attention to the origin of Satcharitham and how it was blessed by Baba himself.
The complete details canbe read from the chapter 2 and 3 of the holy book.The devotees can read this book for any of the following reasons 1) Getting some wish or desire to be fulfilled 2)For treatment of uncurable ailments.3)For getting grace of Sai Maharaj. 4)For good education 5) For employment 6)For financial ,material, family related issues.7) For out of full devotion to Sri Sainath.
8) For the grace of Guru for salvation or self-realisation.9) To overcome pride, egoism and control over worldly pleasures.10) for peace of mind and betterment of life
But fruit of parayan and its success purely depends on Baba's grace.In short when devotees start reading the Holy Book, they should surrender everything at the lotus feet of Baba and Baba should bless each according to their worthyness.This Holy Book should be read especially during GuruPoornima,GokulAshtami,RamaNavami and Dassara.If you read this book carefully all your desire will be satisfied and if you remember Baba always , you wiil easily cross the samsar. Please note that this year's Guru Poornima falls on 7--07-09

PARAYAN PROCEDURE

There is no hard and fast rule for conducting weekly parayan(Sapthaham)All that is requred is total devotion ,full faith and complete surrender in Baba.1) Devotees desiring to do weekly parayan should start parayan from any Thursday onwards as far as possible.2)After takig bath ligthing deep,incense stick, devotee can start parayan in poojaroom with total devotion.Devotees not having separate poojaroom can sit in a neat place where there is no disturbance.If one is not in good health , he need not take bath.3)Sai sat Charitham consists of 50 chapers.One can read 7 chapers on each day, 3 chapters in the morning and 4 chapters in the evening according to convenience.4)The chapters can be divided in the following manner for the convenience of the devotees and for completig in time. 1st Day Chapters 1-6. 2nd Day Chapters 7--13.3rd Day Chapters 14- 22.4th DayChapters 23- 28.5th day Chapters 29-35.6th Day Chapters 30-42.7th Day Chapters 43-50.5)On each day some prasad or nivediya such as fruit, sugar candy etc should be offered to Baba. 6) If the readig is started on Thursday ,it will be completed by Wednesday evening.7) After completion nivedia should be offered in home temple as wellas near by Sai temple.There is no hard and fast rule for this. Whatever the devotee can eat may be offered as Prasad , it can be vegetarian or non-vegetarian food. When parayan is completed family members can join together and do Baba's Arathy with full faith in Baba. Afterwards Prasad offered to Sainath can be distributed among family members.
