NAVARATHRI POOJA

AUM SRI SAI RAM AUM SRI SAI RAM
Navarathri Festival has got different names in different parts of the country. However festival is celebrated in different ways with much gaiety and splendour throughout the length and breadth of the country. In Bengal Navarathri Festival is celebrated as  DurgaPooja. In Gujarat fesival is celebrated with famous Garba dance. In south India, people set up steps and place thereon the idols of various god and goddesses called bomma golu. However in all cases the pooja denotes the victory of good over evil.Every region has got its own myths regarding the festival
During these nine days of sadhana, nine forms or aspects of Divine Mother Devi or Sakthi are worshipped. They are i) Durga 2) Bhadrakali 3)Jagadambika 4)Annapoorna 5)Sarvamangala 6)Bhairavi 7)Chandika 8)Lalita 9) bhavani. In  souththern parts of India the first three days are dedicated to the Goddess Durga . Sadhaka prey to Mother Durga  to remove and destroy all our negative qualities ,defects, shortcomings, desire, wastefulwishes and attachment.
Next three days we worship the Divine Mother as Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity.During these days we have to pray before the goddess for the spiritual wealth and not for the material wealth.Last three days are dedicated to the Goddess Saraswathy. After six days of hectic sadhna ,the sadhaka becomes eligible to be conferred with supreme knowledge and wisdom.Hence we worship the Mother as saraswathy , the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Hence for the last three days we have to pray before the Goddess for spiritual knowlede  and not for bookish knowledge whichis rubbish. The ninth day is day of Ayudha Pooja also when evryone gives their tools such as penn machinery, book, etc for rest and for worship before the Divine Mother. The tenth day is Vijayadasami day which indicates the victory of sadhkas from the clutches of material world and evil practices. On this day 1918,Shri Shirdi Sai had left his mortal coil.
During nine days of sadhana, recite Lalitha Sahasranam during morning and evening.Recite following manthras also 'Om Hirim Dum Durgaya namaha',
Om Im Clim Saw Hirim Bham Bhadrakaliyee Namaha, and Om Sam Saraswathya Namaha

MAY ALL WORLD BE HAPPY,
MAY ALL PEOPLE BE HAPPY
MAY SAI MA REMOVE ALL GRIEF AND SADNESS
